The cuisine of the region is rich in abundance and simplicity. A fine example of this is the parador restaurant, which offers such exquisitely tasty dishes like migas del aranuelo (breadcrumbs), roast kid and marinated partridge.
The building was expanded in the 15th century with palatial additions being made in that minutely executed style known as plateresque.
